Historical Aspects: Emergence of CT History and Development (CT Generations). Current news.
- Methodology: the establishment and operation of a tomography (gantry, table, console, PDU, DAS, etc.).
? Matrix, pixel, voxel. ? Hounsfield Unit Scale. ? Detectors. ? X-Ray Tube. ? Kv, mA, automA. ? Helical System (pitch, rotation, interpolation). ? Multislice System (brief explanation).
- Radiation Doses: Basic Theoretical Dosimetry Introduction. Radiation Care. Radiation Protection.
- CT Artifacts and troubles: display the most common artifacts in CT spiral and troubles that may occur if the user does not follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
- CT Workflow: A clinic operation since patient's arrival until results delivery.
- Work Environment: Nursing, materials, remedies, documents, medical history and preparation.
- Patient Positioning and Protocols: Demonstrate patient positioning and protocol arrangements. (Review).
- Laboratory tests: Perform tests according to customer's needs. Exhibit View and Image Works tools.
